ARKANSAS AUDIOMEDICAL, INC. provides health and safety services to industry throughout Arkansas and all the surrounding states.  Our overall mission is to assist our clients in creating a work safe environment - essential to employee productivity, as well as ensuring compliance with the OSHA requirements for their industry.

Audiometric testing is performed by a Certified Audiometric Technician with interpretation of results and detailed recommendations made by certified/licensed Clinical Audiologist, Dr. Jane Prince, whose specialty is industrial audiology.  All testing is performed in accordance with OSHA 1910.95 Federal Regulation.  Some companies have health/safety staff at their facility who perform the testing as needed, and contract with us just to provide the record keeping necessary for OSHA compliance.

Employee training programs are performed at the time of the hearing test, or in a group session as designed by our client.  AAI training includes a review of the OSHA requirements:

A hearing conservation training pamphlet is also given to each participating employee.  Hands-on fit and use instructions are considered important features of the training session.

Performed by a NIOSH-trained Pulmonary Technician; the test battery includes FEV, FVC, FEV1, FEV-FVC Ratio, a pulmonary disease questionnaire, height, weight, and blood pressure measurements.  Comprehensive reporting of each employee's test results includes validation by an MD Pulmonologist.

Respirator fit testing is performed by a trained examiner; appropriate agents are used in the evaluation selected according to company needs.  Masks evaluated also reflect the requirements and selection of the company, or whatever is deemed appropriate.
